A 'Frequency Response' curve shows the frequency dependence e.g. of the Sound Pressure
Level at the listening place. The 'Sound Pressure Level' is correlated to the sound volume.
| |
- The Total Sound includes all sound waves arriving at the listening place.
- The First Wave Front includes only those sound waves arriving at the listener
within the first 1-2 msec.
- The Direct Sound does not include any reflected sound waves (anechoic response).
|
The reflected sound waves together form the diffuse sound field.
'Frequency Responses' and other types of XY-diagrams are represented with the module
ETS2DView. This module offers many features to analyse or process your results:
- zooming, administration of several zoom ranges in a list
- curve editing by the mouse pointer
- drag&drop processing of curves and diagrams
- linear and logarithmic scaling
- various settings for the representation of diagrams
- display of polar diagrams, xy-diagrams and locus diagrams
- reference curve representation
- print preview with styling tools
- special curve operations:
- smoothing (moving average value)
- spline interpolation
- differentiation
- integration
- curve regression
- creation of graphs of arbitrary mathematical functions (incl. complex calculations)
- applying these mathematical functions to imported curve values
- import and export of:
- ETS2DView curves
- arbitrary text files using a macro language
- WAVE files
